Summary of Fantastic Mr. Fox story

This story talks about a fox so-called Mr. Fox. At night, he steals chickens, ducks and turkeys from three mean, fetor and wealthy farmers – Boggis, Bunce, Bean – in order to feed his family. The farmers are fed up with this and try everything to get him killed. One night, those farmers wait outside of the Mr. Fox’s tunnel hole in an attempt to trap him down. When Mr. Fox shows up from his tunnel hole, they fire at him but they only succeed in cutting his tail off.
Having determined to catch him up, they use shovels to dig their way into the foxes’ home. But Mr. For and Mrs. Fox and their four small foxes tunneled deeper into the ground and they decide to hide very deep in the ground. The farmers decide to use bulldozers or machines’ diggers to dig down deeper into the ground and fade the hill into the ground, but without any benefit they get or useless step.
The three farmers, therefore, decide to camp at the hole of Mr. Fox tunnel, awaiting him to appear out to get food for his family meanwhile Mr. Fox tunnels deeper beneath of the farmers’ houses to get food to his family and other digging animals those who are starving to death.
Three days of starving, Mr. Fox comes up with a plan which he and his children should dig further on and end up in Boogie’s number one chicken house”. Down there, they steal some chickens and depart without leaving any sign of their presence right there. Mr. Fox and his four small children storm Bunce’s storehouse of ducks, geese and vegetables and Bean’s underground cellar of apple cider. During their digging to the farmers’ houses deep in the ground, they meet Badger and other digging animals that are starving since the farmers’ siege of the hillside. Feeling responsible for the whole affair and the siege that all digging animals are in, Mr. Fox invites the other animals to a feast made from the food he steals from the farmers’ houses and they all decide to make an underground town where they will be safe, while smugly obtaining food from the farmers’ houses.

At that time, Boggis, Bunce and Bean keep guard on the tunnel entrance in pouring rain, without have any idea that Mr. Fox and his family are robbing their food right under their noses. And it sounds that the three farmers will be waiting forever at the entrance of the tunnel to get Mr. Fox killed.
